Plant identification

Got a question about maintining a planted aquarium or the GCAS Horticulture Awards Program?  How about a backyard pond or outdoor fish tubs?

Plant identification

Postby jonneal on Wed Jul 28, 2010 5:32 pm

Hi,

I talked to a guy named Ken I believe at the June meeting about a plant I have in my tank and I wanted to find out what it was. He said if I posted it here some people may be able to help! Any help is great!

Thanks

I think it is a larger form of vallis. I couldn't decide between sagittaria and vallis before and then I forgot both of those names! Thank you very much!

If it is a bulb plant it might be Crinum Thaianum (Onion Plant). Got a few from Dan (sweetaquatics.com). Also got Aponogeton Ulvaceous from him, another bulb plant, grows really, really fast. Check them out.
