Plan for a 220 Gallon Saltwater

I'm still a ways off from doing it but figure it can't hurt to have a good plan and start collecting supplies.

Here's what I have now a 220 Gallon Freshwater Tank 6ft x 2ft x 31in high. I have a Floval FX5 filter on it. Has glass lids and 2 standard single bulb 36in lights. I custom built the stand if anyone needs advice on that.

I haven't done a saltwater tank before. I know I'm going to need some better lighting. To my understanding a larger tank is more forgiving on water perimeters. I'm planning on taking it slow once I have what I need. Hoping to have live rock. As for fish I'm not that far yet.

    Thanks for any advice

Go slow....Patience is very important when it comes to saltwater...I have been doing both fresh and saltwater for a bit now and the salt just requires alittle more work. The bigger tank is gonna make things alittle easier in terms of keeping it clean.
