You sure it's nota southern bacopa? Google image search it...

It looks a lot like Bacopa monnieri to me.
You might be right. Do the leaves on the bacopa monieri start narrow though like the new growth I'm now seeing at the too. I guess I'll have to keep watching it. Seems to be doin well.
