    Exclamation GCAS Trading Post Rules

    SELLERS:

Starting threads in the GCAS Trading Post forum is only available to club members. Club members are also allowed to reply to threads. Non-members can reply to threads started by club members, but they are no longer allowed to post items for sale. If you want to post items for sale, please consider joining the club. Membership is only $10 and it helps the club fund the website and all the activities during the year.

Please post your own aquarium related items and livestock up for SALE with an asking price. Threads that say "considering selling tank - make offer" will be removed. Instead, just say "tank for sale: $4000 OBO".

Users should not post links to their own auctions on other websites. Posts of auctions or sales from E-Bay, Aquabid, or other websites are discouraged and may be deleted at the discression of the moderator.

Please, do not post multiple items for sale in multiple threads. Example: If you have 5 tanks for sale, start one thread to sell all 5 tanks - instead of 5 individual threads.

Not all people who read the post are registered, so consider giving an e-mail address or phone number as alternate contact information.

Questionable links to auctions or other suspect sales will be removed at the discression of the moderator.

    BUYERS:

Reading the GCAS Trading Post forum is FREE for anyone with a compatible web browser and the ability to use it.

Caveat emptor (let the buyer beware). GCAS provides this forum as a free medium for exchange, but GCAS does not warrant or enforce any commercial activity in this forum. It's between the buyer and seller. If someone rips you off, we can't fix it. If you have a good enough case, we may ban the seller from using the forum again, but we can't get your money back.

Similarly, please recognize that when someone says O.B.O. (or best offer) on an item for sale, that doesn't mean that they have to accept your offer. Everyone has a limit below which they'd rather keep the item. GCAS doesn't impose a time limit on posts or force sellers to accept offers, so O.B.O. is at the seller's discression.
