Thread: Breeding the Buenos Aires Tetra

Thanks for all of the kind words!

I can't believe batch #1 is over 2 months old now and batch #2 is over a month. Batch #1 is in a 10G and all ~2 dozen will BAP'ed at this month's meeting. Batch #2 was upgraded to a 30G tank and all are doing well. I can't tell that there have been any recent deaths and they seem to be growing at a good pace and are active. I'm going to need to clear out a 75G to grow this batch out. The Fall auction can't come soon enough!

    Thanks, Glenn!

I've been keeping a log of my Tetra spawning attempts for the current BAP year and my most recent attempt this week marks my 100th attempt of the year! I have about a 25% success rate. I define success as raising at least a BAP'able amount of fry per attempt.
