Is a beautiful morning in ACA convention I'll try to post. some of my fish I picked up later. I got some really really nice fish, some tetras, some killi fish an over 20 different cichlids so far. Mostly all west african and south americans. The speakers were absolutely great last night . Heading out to some of the local fish stores here in just a little bit. For the ACA they all have specials from buy 1 get 1 free to 30 percent off everything in the store.

GCAS was very well represented at the ACA! While shooting the breeze at the auction this afternoon, Erv and I counted up nearly 30 people from Cincy that made the trip for all or some part of the ACA Convention. Gary Lange referred to us as "The Cincinnati Mob"... (I think that was a compliment!)
Speaking of Erv... his Jack Dempsey took a 1st Place in the ACA Show.
We all had a good time! I'm already thinking about gearing up for the OCA in November.

I agree. Great convention and the "Cincinnati Mob" was definitely out in full force. I had a great time. The room sales were good and I thought the auction prices went well too. Like Eric, I am really looking forward to the OCA convention in November.
Oh, and the Heinz Buescher talk on Lake Tanganyika was just as good as advertised. Outstanding video footage from the lake as he narrated. Love to see how the fish interact in the wild.
Tanganyikans Rule! Currently breeding Shell dwellers, Sandsifters, Cyprichromis, Featherfins, and other Tanganyikan oddities.
