Suggestion needed from discus guys reguarding fry!!!asap!!

Have more free swimmers, surronding parents, good 40% hatch rate this time. Tomorrow is 7 days since laid last.(5th time) the 1st sucessful hatch i had was 3 weeks ago, DOES ANYONE SUGGEST REMOVING THE FEMALE IN REGUARDS SHE MAY EAT THE FREE SWIMMERS BEFORE SHE LAYS AGAIN TOMORROW?!! Thanx!!

My experience is that it's a gamble...she may eat them, she may not. If you move her and the male, you also risk them not spawning again for awhile. I know that isn't much help, but I've heard success with both ways. Let us know...

Ok so as of this a.m., typically the fry would have been gone after this being the 7th day after she last spawned. 4 spawns total so far and she's either eaten eggs or fry on this day to lay again im assuming. Well , I still have all of the fry. Mom has a herd in one corner , Dad another. I think these fish will turn out to be AWESOME parents at this pt, and hopefully I can produce spawn after spawn. (hopefully when I get home tonight from work they will still be there) You can almost tell with their behavior that they WANT to be good fry raising parents. You can notice so much personality w/ these guys. Coolest fish Ever. P.s , still looking for a M I can toss in w/ my Blue Turq that wants to breed too.

So today after doing a water change after work, the F went B status, and tried to fight w/ the M whom had babies all over it, and I watched her eat 2 of the ones that strayed. Needless to say I secluded her in her own tank after that Fit.

ID:	833 Discus Fry attached, ONly about 15 swimming on parents. Rest died. And apparently eaten by F. Out of 174 Eggs, over 75 Hatched, and went free swimming, Then about 15 atctually attached to Parent ... I must get better at this. Determined.
