refugium ideas and questions

So i have recently purchased a 30 gal tank to use as a refugium on my 120 gal reef tank. I currently have a wet dry setup and would like to go refugium for the added chemical stability and for some free fish food. But as most are, I'm a little unsure on design to get the most bang for my buck. I would like to have most the aquarium serve as refugium and less area for pumps and such. Any help would be awesome! Also thanks for letting me into the forum!

Welcome to the club, there sere a few if us on here that do salt water too,a far as the design for you refuge if you google it there are a million ideas out there, you just have to figure out what works for your setup,i would start with figuring out how much room you need for your return pump and your skimmer compartments and them you will know what you are going to have left for you center section.there is also a club for mostly salt water in the cincy area called cincy reef you may want to check out.see you around
