  • HAP Submissions - plant propagation

    Hello all,

Something I noticed in the last HAP submission forms. Filling out "Date propagated" and "Date submitted".

Newly propagated plants must be grown in your aquarium/tub/pond etc. for a minimum of 30 days prior to submitting it for HAP. Simply taking "cuttings" from the main plant to turn in for HAP submissions will not be acceptable. This rule is to ensure that the newly propagated plant survives being removed from the main plant. (This is really no different than BAP which requires fry to be at least 30 days old prior to submitting them for BAP).

The link to the HAP rules can be found: http://www.gcas.org/Awards/HAPRules
